These policies summarize how Great Beginnings Day Care Center cares for your child and partners with your family. They help keep every child safe, healthy, and happy.
Enrollment begins with a completed registration form and a one-time registration fee. Your child's spot is reserved once registration is complete and approved.
We are open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on weekends. Please pick up by closing time, as late-pickup fees may apply after 6:00 PM.
Weekly tuition is due in advance to hold your child's place. Tuition includes meals and our daily learning program.
Please let us know when your child will be absent. Tuition continues during absences, vacations, and holidays because it reserves your child's spot.
Children must have up-to-date immunizations and required health records on file. Children who are sick or contagious must stay home and may return once they are well, for everyone's safety.
Only adults you have authorized in writing may pick up your child. We may ask for a photo ID before releasing a child to anyone we do not recognize.
We use positive, age-appropriate guidance to help children learn and grow. We never use physical discipline or harsh treatment of any kind.
You will receive daily updates about your child's day, meals, and activities. We keep an open door and welcome conversations with your child's teachers anytime.
Great Beginnings is a licensed Illinois child care center. We operate in compliance with the standards of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
We care for every child with reasonable care and close supervision. Our liability is limited to the standards required by law and described in our parent handbook.
To withdraw your child, we ask for advance written notice as outlined in your enrollment agreement. The center reserves the right to end care when it is in the best interest of the child or program.
